Students in the undergraduate research course BIOL 3900 conducted experiments on plant oils that led to paper published in Plant Biotechnology Journal and was featured on its cover in July 2017.

Biosynthesis, Regulation and Engineering of C-Lignin

Co-Principal Investigators and postdoctoral fellows to learn about the new research on C-lignin. The teachers develop and later implement lessons plans in their classrooms in English and Spanish for their English Language Learners related to the research topics presented to them at UNT. On Year 3 of the project (Summer 2018), four of the participating teachers will be invited to come back with two of their English Language Learners for a one week Science Summer Camp at UNT.
