This MFA thesis exhibition displays artwork influenced by Samson's
explorations of the University of North Texas plant genetic engineering
research performed at the BioDiscovery Institute. These artworks
serve as a representation of his concept for encouraging innovation
through visual stimulation that occurs when the sciences and visual
arts operate as co-catalysts.
Samson's sculptural abstractions seek to activate the confluence of
analytical and creative thinking that can stimulate innovative scientific
progress while also furthering artistic research.
This artwork is exhibited in a University of North Texas' science
education facility where it can further the concept of science and arts
adjacency stimulating creative analytical thinking.
